I especially like the part about them crawling into my brain, lol
I have a kitty door coming in from the Patio (aka hole in the screen) which is always open, so I get a lot of visitors in here.

Martyn, never tried one. Are they anything like chocolate covered Ants? heheblondiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10569854928013832857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381175527202803017.post-63171080099925685532011-07-11T06:18:31.457-06:002011-07-11T06:18:31.457-06:00Yeah, and earwigs don't taste so good either.....Yeah, and earwigs don't taste so good either...lolMartynnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381175527202803017.post-16123692783741730242011-07-11T02:29:53.201-06:002011-07-11T02:29:53.201-06:00Hi Blondie: I'm just dropping by to defend ear...Hi Blondie: I'm just dropping by to defend earwigs! The following is from Wikipedia.org:

"Many earwig species display maternal care, which is uncommon among insects. Female earwigs may care for their eggs, and even after they have hatched as nymphs will continue to watch over offspring until their second molt.
Their pincers are commonly believed to be dangerous, but in reality even the curved pincers of males cause little harm to humans. It is a common myth that earwigs crawl into the human ear and lay eggs in the brain"

So there! (:-) Actually they're common here in Ireland, I meet them often in my garden. they rarely come into the house.

WillWill Beavernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381175527202803017.post-9309268344561940232011-07-11T01:14:30.716-06:002011-07-11T01:14:30.716-06:00Hiya Blondie ... we get earwigs here .. do in many...Hiya Blondie ... we get earwigs here .. do in many parts of Oz ... never seen em with orange legs though ... here they are all black .. but just as ugly!!!
