Welcome to Blondie's Lounge :) We're a casual group here where you can kick off your shoes, relax and stay as long as you like. Those who come in jammies are always welcome too.
I like to share the ups and downs of life and how I'm helping myself and others make a few bucks (here on the net) in the process.
Hopefully I can be of some help to you in one way or another. Cheers!

1980 Was a Good Year :))
Need to run some errands today, and it's getting late.
Here's one of my 1980 favorites from Steve Winwood. That was a good year for me. Was it good for you? lol
I'll be back later if I have time. Have a great day!
Yes, 1980 was a very good year for me, too. That was the year I married my grade school sweetheart!!! Yea, I said grade school. Been together a long time, and are still looking forward to the rest of our lives together.
Hey Cat WOW! Grade school eh? That's incredible and wonderful both! You must have been a baby when you got married, lol Big Congrats to you and your honey! You have to be the perfect couple to be happily married after so long :)
Hey Blondie...hope you are having a wonderful sunday. 1980? Hmmm...i was 5 years old, so i suppose it was good...no school yet, no responsibilities and not really a clue of what's going on in the world... sounds great, huh? The only dramas i had were those of a 5 year old i suppose;o), but i can't remember any... luckely i've got a 5 year old niece who gives me a pretty good idea of what it was like and let's me witness first hand how thin the line between fun and drama is for a 5 year old.;o)
What's nice is that we can all communicate here, whether we're in our 20's, 30's, 40's or more. Its hard to tell any age differences when we're just chatting about our daily happenings.
Actually I do remember something from when I was 5. I was forced to go to "school" and I didn't want to. I remember that day very well. Must have been a traumatic experience for me, being as bashful as I am, lol
You enjoy your day also! I just put my dinner in the oven. Chat soon, blondie :))
1980 was the year I got out of the Navy(Canada)and went commercial fishing for ground fish such as cod and flounder...10 years(Remember Forrest Gump...same thing!) Some of the best years of my life...my own fishing vessel, the ocean, whales, icebergs.. however it all came to an end due to foriegn overfishing.
I'll always remember the Humpback whales as they came close to my boat...awesome experiences.
Wow Gord, Quite a story and quite a memory too! Can't imagine anything like that myself. Thanks for sharing your 1980 experience with us. C'ya soon, blondie :))
