List-Zilla Launching Tuesday

Just listened to video #3 where Tai announced List-Zilla will be launching on Tuesday but ONLY for pre-registered members during the first 24 hours.
If you're not pre-registered yet, you may want to do that now from this link, or click on the "Show Me The Monster" banner here on the right.
The first 24 hours (all day Tues) will be reserved for those who have pre-registered. The sign-up page will be available starting at Midnight (or 12:01 AM) CST Tuesday morning.
If you are pre-registered, I urge you to listen to video #3. Why? Because I'm not positively sure I will be here at Midnight, but I'm usually online by 7 AM CST. You'll understand why I'm saying that once you hear the video, and I'll write more about it in the next day or two also.
Or better yet, get pre-enrolled then you'll be receiving the same instructions that I do. Cool :)
And please clear your cookies ahead of time. TY!

HYIFunds is being DDOS attacked and will be back as soon as possible. Makes ya wonder who would do something like that? Geez!

*******

Got paid last night from NextGenMarket :) I'm still amazed that they've been able to keep up the 6% days all this time. Kudos to them.. and you if you're playing, LOL

*******

Tomorrow afternoon I will complete another 5 day term at Hug Money.

*******

Gold Nugget Invest is running a little behind on payments.
I thought for sure I'd have mine by now, but I don't yet. Well that's ok, I have patience.

TGIF and ...

Just kidding.
It's going to be a beautiful day here today. I just hope I can set my mind frame to match the day.
I'll start working on that right now.

*******

Nothing new to share at the moment. But I think tomorrow may be different. So TGIF and see ya tomorrow :)

The Last Straw

When I read the newest update at 10DollarsWonder yesterday, I threw my hands in the air, shook my head and said "this is the last straw!"

I have over 500 positions in 10DW and they're all set to LOW priority now. And they won't move from there either, unless I put in new funds again!!!

I won't go into all the stupid detail. If you're a member, I'll let you read it yourself. What I can't figure out is WHY he didn't just close the damn thing! Ya know? It's pretty much worthless right now, at least for us older members that have been hanging on for dear life.

*******

Better news to follow as I go through my list of "working" programs, lol

Just requested a payment from HYIFunds and got it in about 2 minutes! So what the heck, I just made another new spend from outside funds. Thumbs up to these guys :)

*******

In 3 more days I'll have completed another round at Hug Money. I'll let you know when I get paid.

*******

NextGenMarket .. not sure what to say about it. Let me think it through before I open my trap.

*******

Been really pleased with the Group/Team for The Prosperity Game! They sure know their business which is good for me since I haven't been able to attend the webinars or phone calls yet. In any case ... I just bought another NEW SPOT in the game!!! Whoo Hoooo!

*******

Just got a note from my sponsor in List-Zilla who informed us that it will be launching next week. He sounds excited so I'll share his note here:

"Ok, finally we are launching our new prog.
Next week.
You can pre-signup here

Watch Video1 then Video2. Then sign up.
You will be sent a confirmation e-mail, so answer that.
You will be allowed to promote it next week.

Am pretty confident about this one as I am one of the Founding Members and we have a terrific programmer and initiator on this one.

It is legal, legit, not MLM, not NM, not a ponzi, etc. It is Viral Marketing and we will do it on your behalf. So it is pretty well passive, ok?

Oprah did it, and now we are doing it unlike anyone else, ever. So that's why it took so long for us to develop it."

So what's good enough for Oprah should be good enough for me, right? LOL
Hope to see you getting more info as I have been. Just info, no strings.

Got Me A Bad Connection

I had lots to say today, but have had trouble staying online all day! Could be my hot-to-trot laptop, or AOL, or a problem with the lines being loaded due to the School Shooting here yesterday.

If you're in the U.S. (and maybe Canada), you may have heard about it already. Another School shooting less than 3 miles from Columbine 10+ years ago.

This time it was a Middle School (called Jr High back in the day), and the shooter got off two shots with a shotgun, hitting two kids (who are going to be alright, thank God), before being tackled by one very brave Teacher.

The part that really ticked me off today was after the shooter appeared in Court, the Judge posted bail at 1 Million dollars cash. Now I'm sure no one will come up with that kind of money BUT what the f*** was he thinking allowing bail to be posted at all? I mean HELLO! The 32 year old man shot at two kids, hitting them, and the Judge will let him out on bail?!?!?

What is wrong with that picture? Sheesh!

Back To The Sixties

In case you didn't notice, I took yesterday off. Needed to do some things away from home and it felt good to get out and about for a change.
Decided to catch up on my emails this morning and this one caught my attention big time!
Whether you were around in The Sixties or not, I think you can appreciate the history lesson here. If you DO remember the 60's ... Enjoy the Music!!!
Thanks Randy who I know remembers the 60's, lol

*******

Having trouble getting in gear today. I know I need to shift into Drive, yet I'm so content sitting here in Neutral.

-- The Prosperity Game is rolling right along. Game Boards are filling up and folks are being paid! Don't forget we do a "weekly" drawing in the Pay It Forward contest. So if you can't afford to play, enter the drawing for your chance.

-- Just added some funds to Hug Money since I'll complete another 5 day term this afternoon. ** And I did so I re-spent what I made plus added another spend from a different pay processor. So I have 3 separate ones running now. Cool?

-- Also made a new spend in HYIFunds with some of my profit.

-- NextGenMarket has completed 30 - 6% days. That's just incredible! And they've opened a new "VIP plan" where you don't have to surf. There is a $10 monthly fee for that option though. So it's certainly up to you and your budget.

-- List-Zilla (coming soon) has a new Video for us to view. For some reason, I can't load it but am hoping you can. Let me know if it's any good, LOL

*******

Do you know how hard it is to find a desktop size Fan in February in Colorado? No? Well I spent an hour on the phone yesterday trying to find one. Finally a clearance at "Office Max" came to the rescue.
Why did I need a fan? Well, cause the old one that points to my laptop broke, so it was either a new fan or a new laptop. Considering the plumbing bill just got paid, I went with an $8 fan rather than a $800 laptop. Oh well, life goes on.

Sun Day ... but not here

Been snowing since Thursday off and on.
So no Sun Day here today :(

1 - Martyn, saw your comment then I somehow lost it in cyberspace. Sorry about that. But I agree and I've put 10DW on the back burner also.

2 - If anyone has something to 'comment' about but signs in as "anonymous" ... at least have the courtesy to sign your name. Kapish?

*******

Nice to see the "Team" growing at The Prosperity Game. I've been talking about it for a week now and it just keeps getting bigger and better.

*******

Don't have much else to say today.
This coming week should be more fun though.

While surfing today I saw a blogger mention "year of the tiger", which made me think of "eye of the tiger", which then took my thoughts to "Year of the Cat". Isn't the mind weird? How something you see reminds you of something you heard 30+ years ago?

I'd Rather Be A Pig

So after getting up early for three days, and keeping the house as clean as I can for the plumber guys and City Inspectors going in and out ... I decided I needed to be a Pig for a couple of days now that it's all over. So of course, this old song came to mind.

*******

On a business note, I don't see any problems anywhere right now. Always a good sign eh?

And in the last two days, I've been paid by:
NextGenMarket, HYIFunds and Hug Money :)

Someone remind me tomorrow or the next day to try to cash out of 10DollarsWonder.
Available for Withdraw or Re-Purchase: $ 19.80
Once it gets to $20, should be able to cash out $10.
Am NOT holding my breath though, LOL

The Plumber :(

Yes the plumber was here today. All day!!
So needless to say I have a headache and haven't had time to update till now.
They finished the front yard and jack hammered the cement floor in the basement and will finish down there tomorrow. I'll show you pics later.

*******

JS created a splash page for The Prosperity Game. He explains a lot more than I have so far in this blog. So feel free to visit and play if you like. We're all in the same Team so the link to join is the same. TY John :)

*******

My 5 days are already over at HugMoney and my 122% ROI was ready to cash out. So I did request some of it and bought a new spot for another 5 days with the rest. So far, so good.
** Received payment after a few hours!! YaY!

*******

Am surprised and happy that NextGenMarket's 6% daily hasn't slowed down yet. I completed my first spend there today at 150% ROI. I've got 2 more positions running right now and might consider buying again soon.

*******

HYIF interest was 1.16% last night. Nice :)

*******

One more thing, I added a note about List-Zilla late in yesterdays post. If you didn't see it, please scroll down and check it out.

*******

I am NOT promoting Data Network Affiliates.
That's all you need to know.

*******

Ahhhh, that's all for now.
Hopefully tomorrow will be easier on me.

Happy Hump Day & More

Well I was busy yesterday cleaning house thinking that the plumber and crew would be here at 8 AM. He called while I was vacuuming and had to postpone because of an emergency. That's OK. If they don't show up this afternoon, then maybe tomorrow.

*******

Hey Look! I have a banner for HYIF now too. YaY!! My blogger friend Gwen created them (for HYIF and DNA) and asked if I wanted to use them. Of course I do! So if you look down a tad, you'll see Gwen's Profit Hub blog added to my blogger list as well. Thanks again Gwen!

*******

-- I heard a few members got paid from The Prosperity Game recently. Congrats to them! It's really nice to be part of a Team that works so hard for you.
The Bunny With The Money ... just read a good overview for The Prosperity Game over at Gord's blog. I encourage you to read it if you're interested. Tell him Blondie sent ya :)

-- I got paid today from HYIF and my first payment from HugMoney.

-- Got paid yesterday from NextGenMarket.

And I can't think of anything else to say right now. So if anything important comes up, I'll be back.
Have a great day!

*******

Got a heads up from my friend John about this one. I'm not really sure what it's all about yet. But you guys know that I don't listen to those rah rah emails from other promoters, right? OK good.
I did sign up under John (cause he tells it like it is) to get more information coming next week. You may want to do that too. Costs nothing to stay informed, ya know?

Catch Up Day

Been catching up today since I had the grand doggies here yesterday. They make it hard to work when they're slobbering on my face and wanting to sit on my lap.

A few more emails I need to respond to then I'll be back. Sit tight or hang loose .. whichever you prefer.

*******

The Prosperity Game ... If you haven't checked this yet, now would be a good time. See the bunny banner on the right. That's where to start, OK?
Our Group (Team) is doing really well. No need to tackle this one on your own. They're always there to help.
Be sure to enter the Pay It Forward drawing when you get there. You could be the next winner :)

*******

Data Network Affiliates (that I wrote about yesterday) does not supply us with banners. At least I couldn't find one. ** BUT a fellow blogger created one and asked if I wanted to use it. Whoo Hoo!** So they've been added to my "list of programs" links. Also they've postponed their launch until March 1st. Plenty of time to get signed up for free and get out there to collect those license plate numbers, lol

*******

Got a couple of referrals in Hug Money (thank you) but silly me only entered one pay processor ID when I joined. Now that I have some RC in other PP's, I need to write to Support to get my other ID's added. Ahhh! FYI, don't make the same mistake that I did. If you promote, put em all in as soon as you join.

*******

Next Generation Market continues to kick out 6% daily. WoW is all that comes to mind at the moment. I hope you joined when I did. You know we need to be careful with these types of programs, right? OK then :)

*******

HighYield Investment Funds ... I see my buddy Gord is promoting it now too, LOL
Well I kinda twisted his arm on that one. Why? Cause not everyone who reads our blogs has a lot of funds to spend on this or that. And we're here to help others as far as I'm concerned.
So to start for free, get $2.50 credit from the program, earn a daily ROI and being able to cash out as soon as you invest $1 of your own money ... it's a no brainer. Don't ya think?

*******

Just received my first for the month email from Gold Nugget Invest about this months earnings. Nice :) Still waiting for my Feb cash out, but that's ok; I've learned to be patient.

*******

Wow, for somebody who didn't have time to write today, I kinda went Bonkers. Oh well, it's all short notes. Just stuff that was going through my head as I thought of each program. Hope I helped you a little today. If not, there's always tomorrow :) Smiley Smile!
And if this song doesn't make you smile, I'll cut my hair and mail it to you!
(you know I'm just kidding, right?)

A Free to Join and Earn Business

Now here is something completely different sent to me just a few minutes ago from my old friend Louis.

I have heard of this before but didn't know who was actually doing the business until today.

Now I know you're familiar with Data Collection but did you know you can get paid for helping collect this data? As Louis wrote:

"I would like for each of you that are not familiar with the Business of writing down 20 License Plates per month minimum to make a significant income with NO COST TO YOU EVER.

There is an option to upgrade, and it will always remain an option. NO COST is the way I am approaching this and I do not intend on upgrading. I like FREE and so do you I am sure of that.

Please look over the information and if you see the same thing I am seeing then you will want to sign up ASAP because this is in PRE-LAUNCH now and should be Launching possibly next Tuesday 16th of February.

I am excited about this opportunity and I hope you will be also."

Be sure to read the site a bit.
I think it was the "Amber Alerts" that really got my attention.
Gimme a holler is you have questions.

Happy Valentine's Day!

-- NextGenMarket continues to pump out 6% daily which puts me at 120% return now. Even though I'm happy to be "in profit", I'm using a bit of caution with regards to new purchases. Maybe I'm being too careful, but I've been fooled before in these games and I end up taking the hit. I trust the Admin, I really do. It's the big players (promoters) I'm more concerned with. So I'm just keeping a close eye on it.

-- HYIF is going great. This is a really good one for those who don't have a lot of money to play with. So if you have a group of friends looking to make a buck without spending too much .. hook em up :)

-- Got a few requests for more information on The Prosperity Game. Thanks Guys :) Looks like the 'game' is picking up speed and it's not even officially launched yet. So I'm looking forward to playing and learning more about it as I roll along.

-- Did you notice I have a new banner here?
A reader from Australia contacted me today about HugMoney. (Kinda fitting for Valentine's Day tomorrow eh?)
Said he's been playing since Dec 24th and is really happy with it. Checking one of the forums I see a thread started on Dec 10th with lots of paid post pages! Always a good sign.
Now it is a high ROI which means high risk normally, but it's also 2 months old and still kickin?
Anyway I took the plunge into the 5 day slot and will let you know how it works out. Okie dokie?

-- Been trying to work here but the TV is on and I'm listening to "The 40 Year Old Virgin" movie in the background. Makes it a bit rough to concentrate with that language going on. LOL

Here I Am Finally

OK the program/game I mentioned that I joined yesterday is called "The Prosperity Game".

Since I'm not really sure what I can or cannot say about it, (yeah, it's sorta secretive), check the link above first, then if you want more info, drop me a note (to my gmail) to ask for more details.
They provide us with a "prospect letter" that I can send you if you like.

Was just on a skype chat with the "team" ... OMG what a fun and informative group! So gimme a holler if you're interested.
If I don't get back to you tonight with the note, I'll send it first thing in the AM.

And that's all for today.
Everything else is hunky-dory :)

Here's a blast from the past.
Some people are just plain lucky. Others are not.

Morning (yawn)

-- Day 17 for me at NextGenMarket which means I'm in profit now. 17 x 6% = 102% YaY! And another 48% to go before my first spend expires.

-- HYIFunds cranked out 1.10% last night. I hope you're playing in this one. Remember it's free to join, they give you $2.50 to get started, and you only need to invest $1 minimum to qualify for payments. So it's fun, low risk, and you won't break the bank by getting more involved.

-- Hmm what else is on my mind today?

Oh I remember now.
Yesterday morning I finally got the email about that "new" program.
As it turns out, the program is already more than a month old and not what I expected at all. So after taking awhile to 'investigate' .. it just wasn't for me. Plus the fact that you couldn't be "passive" and earn. You had to either get your own referrals OR buy them. Eck in my opinion.

On another note, I DID join a program today that I'll tell you more about soon. I don't really understand exactly how it works but I think my sponsor is doing a write up on it (wink) so maybe I'll just have to borrow that from him later.

OK off to finish washing my bathroom walls :(

When I first met the Plumber a couple of weeks ago, he asked my last name for the paperwork. "Morrison". "Any relation to Jim?" "I wish!"

Learning is Hard Sometimes

You know, I check a lot of things here every day.
I see who's promoting what and wonder why they're doing it.
And I try hard to show you programs or games that I believe in myself.

I have a couple of good friends who only promote programs that they themselves have faith in, and put their own bucks in ... a good amount at that.

Then there are those who I see promoting something new just about every day!

Now who in the world wants to join a new program every frickin day?!? And who has the money to do that anyway? I sure as hell don't!

We all know that the majority of these programs don't work out in the long run, and especially not for the 'little guy' (non promoter). So who's making all the money in these before they collapse?

Well the answer is clear.
Those who promote it first and skate off with the referral commissions, of course. They don't give a rat's ass about you. All they want is the RC those programs pay.

And I'm guessing if they get 5 or 10 referrals in each one daily ... that's a good chunk of money, which I'm sure they cash out ASAP ... then have the nerve to say "gee, sorry it tanked so fast guys" when you lose your bucks.

Honestly, I am getting so tired of those long winded reviews and interviews that don't mean squat anyway. They don't! Anybody can fudge those and the only person making out like a bandit is the one you've put your trust in.

Like I've said before ... read between the lines.

Bell Bottom Blues

So here it is the 8th already and I see payments have begun going out to Gold Nugget Invest members. Just remember they're paying from the 8th through the 28th and in no particular order. As long as you requested your payment between the 1st and the 7th, you'll be paid. Personally, I'm cool, calm and collected during the wait time. (smile)

*******

Was kinda fun surfing at NextGenMarket today because by the time I was done, a referral made a new spend so I had a couple more bucks than when I looked the first time. YaY!
(He and I must be on the same time frame, lol)
Happy to see them still cranking out that 6% daily! That's 15 days now? Nice :)

*******

And then there's

HighYieldInvestmentFunds

Gotta love those daily earnings!

That's the way (a ha a ha)
I like it (a ha a ha)

*******

TV is depressing. By the time the News and the daily Morning Show is done, I have a headache. At least the squirrels are keeping me busy throwing peanuts in the snow and watching them dig for them. Yeah, it's snowing like crazy right now. Big flakes too. Glad I'm not out there driving.

*******

Bought 2 new pair of Jeans a few weeks ago. One of them is cut pretty big around the bottom. Made me think of my old Bell Bottom days. Shhhh, don't laugh :)
Did you know Eric Clapton will be 65 next month? And he's still hot!

Happy Superbowl Sunday

Have a fun day/night but don't drink and drive, or text and drive, and I'll be back tomorrow. I think, lol

Saturday, February 6, 2010

Good Morning

-- Earned a few bucks in HYIF last night so I added it to my Investment Balance. I'm doing the 'building' thing again. Will start cashing out soon.

-- Another 6% daily ROI at NextGenMarket. Cool. Am surfing there right now.

-- My Squirrels are stopping by already today. It's cloudy and foggy here and I'm sure they know there's a snow storm coming in tonight. Smart little guys.

-- Well we finally got an email from Margaret of MyMarketShares. The reason it took her so long is cause she didn't know what to say. Whatever. I can't see it coming back to anything profitable, but I could be wrong. Just MHO.

-- Removed MyNetWealthTeam from my list on the side bar. Took me about 45 minutes to check ALL my accounts there and since June I've only made about 20 bucks or so. But it's all in different accounts which means I probably can't even pull it out. So yuck. It's gone out of my head.

-- Just ditched Iggly Biggly too. They screwed up my matrix so bad and refused to fix it. Caught up reading in the 'Team Build' forum that I was in and can't say that I'm impressed with anything I read there. So Bye Bye Flip Flops and my $20 dollars. Not worth the hassle.

OK that's all for now.
Have a good weekend!

I Didn't Want To Do This But ...

Because of spammers trying to post daily their stupid links for things like via gra, po rn, other blogs, es cort services and even 'how to order a Russian bride', lol .. my decision came down to either:

1 - not allowing Anonymous User posts or
2 - turning on the Word Verification step.

For now I chose #2. I realize it'll be a pain in the butt for my friends, but it will help me in the morning when I have to sift through the overnight spam posts that seem to be growing daily.

Thanks for understanding :)

*******

- Well there's no fires to put out today.
- The programs I mentioned yesterday are doing fine.
- Still waiting to hear from that other person about the new program.
- Signed a contract with the Plumber yesterday to fix what's needed around here, and it's only going to cost $3K. Did I say only? (big sigh)
- Had a really nice dream last night that left in a bad mood after I woke up. Guess cause I realized it was only a dream.

Decided I can't stay bummed out all day.
So I put on my Pillsbury Dough Boy lounge pants that say "This Is How I Roll!". Maybe if I bake some cookies too, it'll cheer me up?

Worth a shot eh?
Later

*******

While I was taking a break, I caught up on 2 episodes of the "Men Of A Certain Age" TV show. What I expected to be a comedy, turned out to be a more of a real life drama from the eyes of someone my age. Actually found it interesting and a bit sad. Guess I could relate to it more than I wanted to.

*******

Someone just skyped me asking about MyNetWealthTeam. I told him I thought it had fizzled out but would check my own accounts before removing it from my blog.
Looking back, I see my last payment received was in June 2009. So I just wrote to Thomas (the Admin) asking what's up? I do have 4 accounts in MNWT, 3 accounts in Phase 2 of MNWT and 3 accounts in the OneDollar feeder program. Hmmm Anxious to hear back from Thomas now. I'll let you know.

*******

9DailySurf ... read a couple of reviews on it today and what's 'blatantly obvious' to me is the person promoting it is just looking for more bucks for himself. Not you the player.
Oh heavens no.
Same thing applies when the promoter who gets the chance to "speak to the admin" .. (cough), probably means a deal was made so that they don't lose. You probably will, but they won't.
Please beware of what you're reading and read between the lines if you can.

Zoom Zoom Zoom

Forgot I had a car today and since I am itching to get out of this house, this will just be a quick update for now.

-- NextGenMarket continues their 6% daily return. YaY! I was going to compound today but was .20 cents short in my account so I decided to withdraw it and put it back in. Just didn't wanna wait till tomorrow, ya know?

-- HYIF ... what can I say? It just keeps going like that cute little bunny! I'm compounding now until I reach another even dollar amount (in 10's), then will withdraw again. Did that make sense?

-- Got an email from a veteran of these games we play here. He mentioned something new coming up soon but didn't give too many details. Knowing his past and how he enjoys making money, I'll be all ears to hear more.
Stay tuned and have a great day!

If You Smoke or

someone in your house does, here's some information on computer warranties and some cases where Apple has not honored their warranty.

So if you're a smoker, you might want to consider another company when purchasing your next computer. And you should also ask about their warranty and what would Void it when there's a problem.

Thanks Jess for sending me the info :)

Unless you've just arrived in 2009 on a time machine, you know that smoking isn't good for you. Did you know, that smoking isn't good for your computer, either? It's true, at least according to Apple. Two readers in different parts of the country claim that their Applecare warranties were voided due to secondhand smoke. Both readers appealed their cases up to the office of Steve Jobs himself. Both lost.
Back in April, Derek copied us on his e-mail to Jobs:
I took my mid 2007 apple macbook (black) into the Jordan Creek Apple Store in West Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, April 25th, because I had been experiencing some issues with it overheating, and figured the fan was bad. After some initial testing, they took the computer in for work under my Applecare plan, which has over a year remaining on it.
Today, April, 28, 2008, the Apple store called and informed me that due to the computer having been used in a house where there was smoking, that has voided the warranty and they refuse to work on the machine, due to "health risks of second hand smoke".
Not only is this faulty science, attributing non smoking residue to second hand smoke, on Chad's part, no where in your applecare terms of service can I find anything mentioning being used in a smoking environment as voiding the warranty.
Jobs' office did not help Derek, but he resolved some of the problems himself by disassembling his Macbook and cleaning it out with a can of compressed air.
A few months later, reader Ruth wrote to us with an identical complaint after trying to have her son's iMac repaired at a local authorized repair center.
I bought an iMac for my son (for school) along with the extended Applecare warranty. A month ago, it quit working. My son took it to the authorized Mac service center. The "tech" informed him it would be ready in 48-72 hours. Five days go by and he's heard nothing, so I called. They informed me that his computer can't be worked on because it's contaminated.
When I asked for an explanation, she said he's a smoker and it's contaminated with cigarette smoke which they consider a bio-hazard! I checked my Applecare warranty and it says nothing about not honoring warranties if the owner is a smoker. The Applecare representative said they defer to the technician and my son's computer cannot be fixed at any Apple Service Center due to being listed a bio-hazard.
This computer cost approx. $3,000, with the extended warranty. I'm all for destroying cigarettes and putting big tobacco out of business (yes, I'm a reformed smoker), but to label a computer a biohazard because one is a smoker is going a bit too far in regulating who can have the warranty they purchased honored. Shouldn't there be some disclaimer stating that they won't honor warranties from smokers?
Ruth appealed her case to Steve Jobs's office, which also declined to repair the iMac. In another letter, she wrote:
Dena [from Jobs' office] did advise me that nicotine is on OSHA's list of hazardous substances and Apple would not require an employee to repair anything deemed hazardous to their health. However, OSHA also lists calcium carbonate (found in calcium tablets), isopropyl alcohol (used to clean wounds), chlorine (used in swimming pools), hydrogen peroxide (also used to clean wounds), sucrose (a sugar), talc (as in powder), etc... as hazardous substances.
...
Dena set up an appointment at the same Apple store. They told me that they would take pictures of the computer - both inside and out before determining whether to proceed and that if the only problem was the optical drive, they'd probably just replace it. Dena called me earlier this week to deliver the "bad news." She said that the computer is beyond economical repair due to tar from cigarette smoke! She said the hard drive is about to fail, the optical drive has failed and it isn't feasible to repair the computer under the warranty. This computer is less than 2 years old! Only one person in my household smokes - one 21 year old college student. She said that I can get it repaired elsewhere at my expense. I asked why my warranty didn't cover the repair and was told it's an OSHA violation.
UPDATE:On Monday, reader Jeniffer wrote in that she has experienced the same problem with her Mac--in the last week.
I own a mac and live in Oklahoma. Recently the burner stopped working. We have AppleCare so we took it in 2 days ago for repair. We just recieved a call today stating we needed to come get it because they are refusing to work on it due to health hazards from second hand smoke due to OSHA violations.
Consumerist has tried repeatedly to obtain some kind of answer about these two cases from Apple's media relations department, and we have received nothing on the record after months of waiting. Mostly, we're curious what the threshold is for smoke damage to a computer, and why this is not mentioned in the Applecare contract.

"They will actually test them before performing any repairs and if they detect nicotine, they wont honor the warranty. I guess they believe that cigarette smoke is harmful to the computers components and will cause problems prematurely. No other computer company has followed suit."

The Day From Hell

From yesterday:
Just heard that another blogger taught my arch enemy how to place permanent cookies on the sites/programs that they're promoting. (also posted the instructions in their blog for anyone else who was interested in learning).

So what that means is, if you've heard about a program somewhere else and clicked on it to "check it out", then came to Blondie's Blog to see if she was doing it, then decided to sign up under Blondie (because you luv her). BUT... Oops! You didn't! You signed up under that "other" person because he or she placed a permanent cookie that locked you into their sponsor link. Argh!

So does clearing cookies fix this problem? Yes it might but how many of you will clear cookies before joining a new program? This makes me sad.

But wait ... the day got worse!

Another Blogger has been spamming my comments box for weeks now. Since I moderate my comments, I have never posted them. And all she is doing is spamming to bring folks to her Own blog. (which by the way hasn't even been updated since Dec 25th) Duh!

So when she finally responded to my emails yesterday, she sounded like a fricken robot. A bitchy robot at that. She seems to think there's nothing wrong with spamming other peoples blogs to steer business over to herself.

Well I've had readers leave me for other blog sites, and I know that sometimes the grass seems greener on the other side. But this lady should be shot! LOL

If she continues to spam me after our conversation last night, maybe I'll post her link here so we can all jump her ass with spam comments about ourselves and our program links.

Paybacks are a bitch, ya know?

OK let me shake it off and try to get back to normal today.

-- Just checked my HYIF account and see it growing nicely. Was going to withdraw but might have to compound instead. Ahhh decisions decisions.

-- Another 6% day at NextGenMarket. Nice. So that's 54% back since the time I joined. Gonna go surf there now and I'll be back in a bit.
OK back. Decided to cash out there today (remember we can have 3 per 7 day period), was paid in about 2 minutes, then went to MMG to post my payment. While there, noticed my MMG stats:

February!

-- Just realized it's February and that means we can request a withdraw from GoldNuggetInvest starting today through the 7th.
I did have a cash balance from January's earnings so it's now in a pending status until paid. Remember they will pay in no particular order (random) from the 8th through the end of the month.
And don't forget that your active deposits are now locked in for 14 months.

-- Another beautiful 6% day at NextGenMarket ;)

-- Just added a few more bucks to HYIF. Why not eh?

-- Someone asked me to 'review' a program, so I'm off to do that now.
OK I'm back and it looked like a loser to me so I'm not even going to mention it here. Plus I doubt if it'll be around much longer anyway. Looking at the time it's been up and how the 'plan' works, I would guess it's almost done.
Might have to keep an eye on it though .. just to see if I'm right or wrong.

I need to clear my head now.
Have a good one!
