TBD

--- Matt over at McFads paid me too fast this morning. If he had waited about 60 seconds after my first withdrawal request, he could have combined the non-surf payout along with a little RC and saved me 25 cents in the process. Funny thing to complain about eh? LOL Thanks Matt.

--- Why can't keyboards all be the same? Still learning where the dash is and the delete key and home key etc. Not to mention page up and page down. And when it's kind of dark in here, I can't see squat so need to rely on memory. But I don't have them memorized yet. (sigh) Now if the keys were lit-up, that would be great! Like glow in the dark keys? hahaha

--- Does anybody here use Norton anti-virus? I'm trying to find out how to 'pause' it so I can load skype. Right now it keeps blocking me. Either that or can't I force Norton to allow Skype? Holler if you can help. Thx

--- Re-purchased 6 more in Ad2Million today. Might as well while waiting for my next payout.

--- Also purchased 4 more JSS-Tripler positions. Three from earnings and one from new money (cause I was trying to make note of the process to help a new member).

--- Thanks to Allan, am trying to install my Skype again. Running slow while that's in progress so ... BBL maybe?

I use Norton Anti-Virus and I had no problem loading Skyp? I know this doesn't help you but you asked the question. Hope it works out for you soon.

Thanks Roger :)

Stacey, need to go for 1/2 hour, but when I get back will write up instructions and send them to your gmail.
If they're clear and it works, then maybe I'll post it in my blog also.
Thanks

Hi Blondie:
I have Norton 360 ,,,which of course uses norton antivirus. For me, i click on the norton icon, then at the top click on settings, then click on firewall, then click on program rules. Here you will see all the programs you have on your computer, and from the drop down menu you can block, allow etc.....just click "allow" beside the skype program. Hopefully your Norton antivirus is set up the same way, but i dont know what version youre using. Hope this helped.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Allan. I had 4 pages of settings but I DID find where the firewall was.
Funny thing too, this laptop came with Norton and Skype pre-installed (sort of). Yet Norton kept kicking out skype saying it wasn't compatible or something. Sheesh.
Trying it again now with my setting to "allow".
Thanks again and I'll post about it when it's loaded :)

Hi Blondie:
I hope it works...the problem is your laptop, if youre using Windows, already comes with a pre-installed firewall, and Norton comes with a pre-installed firewall, so the firewalls were fighting each other. (non compatable) Thats why you have to set the Norton Firewall to 'allow' certain programs. Hopefully this solves your problem.

Hi Blondie:
Just incase that didnt work, the other solution is to turn off your WINDOWS firewall....you only need 1 running, which your Norton has. Click on your Control Panel, then click on Security Center, then click on Windows Firewall....from here you just click on or off. It will tell you its not recommended due to virus threats etc, but you have that protection from your Norton antivirus.
I just posted this now, so you would have something else to try incase the other method didnt work.

Blondie, I wish Adsmillion hd left your link on Carrie
site. I had hundreds waiting of pay-out. Looking for some reasoning to who she is paying out.I don't see any patterns yet at all. Your thoughts?

Hi Judy,
Personally, I don't like Norton or McAfee which most computers come with pre-installed. My preference is Avast which is a free program. After doing a lot of research, I switched to Avast just over four years ago, and have been very happy with it ever since. Basically, I have had no problems since I started using it, but in times prior to that had issues with both of the others. I wouldn't waste a dime on either one.
Regards
Dave

Thanks for all the notes Allan. Am doing my best to get it going now.
The download keeps re-starting which is really ticking me off! Argh!

@Lori, I asked to Carrie to remove my blog link from the site. I was getting way too many 'support' type emails which I couldn't do anything about. It's been more quiet around here since.
My thoughts? She's paying and within terms from what I've read in the forum. I'm expecting payment on Wed or Thurs and will post when paid.

Avast eh Dave?
Is it just avast.com link?
I'll have to check it out.
Thanks :))

I've also been using Avast for many years now...through auto and manual surfing, etc. the worse traffic out there.

Good luck.

Even better news Deb :)
So Avast.com, download, use, then kill my Norton? What do you think?

Hi Blondie, I would like to recommend avast too .. IMHO it's a lot better than Norton .. You can uninstall norton and download avast from this link:

http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html

Also I'm using COMODO firewall and it's great too .. You can download it from this link:

http://download.cnet.com/Comodo-Firewall/3000-10435_4-75181464.html

Avast and Comodo are working nice together.

Good luck.

I don't understand why people PAY for antivirus when Avast works so well. They have a Pro version but I've been using the FREE version.

Allan, Dave, Deb, Ebiz,
You all Rock!
Thanks SO much for all the info.
I'll be doing my best to get hooked up tomorrow and maybe I can finally download my skype.
If I do, you're all invited! LOL
Thanks again!

I'm loving JSS trip. Not so much before because it looked difficult to understand and navigate but now it's real simple to do, only thing I don't know how to do yet is withdraw...lol...help?

Blondie, I've always found the following site a great resource for all types of useful freeware, especially programs to protect your computer: http://www.techsupportalert.com

Setting up a new computer the way you want it can be a pain. Hope you'll be fully back in business soon, Will.

Hi Judy, I use webroot, I did have Norton a long time ago but I had so many issues with it. Webroot sorts out a load of stuff before I even know there is something wrong.

blondie said...

Hi Jenkins,
In the Tripler, just do what you did to purchase, but in reverse. lol
The JSS-SynergySurf acts like a wallet. So what you do is move the Tripler earnings to SynergySurf, from there you can withdraw to AP.
Min. w/d is $20 I believe.

Will, thanks :) More for me to check out.

Hi Martyn, never heard of that one so I might go either AVG or Avast. Haven't made up my mind yet.

Hi Judy, I'm not sure where you can find this where you are but there are glow in the dark keyboards! My hubby has one and I think it's really cool. He bought it because he can't pull his keyboard shelf out of the table and hated to pull his keyboard out from time to time when his fingers wander off so he just takes a peek and sees his glowing keys! lol!... we also bought a keyboard with colorful, giant keys on it about 1x1 inch.. great for kids and those with who can barely see, it's crazy fun! :D

OMG Fritzie, that's too funny!
Unfortunately my new pc is a laptop and didn't come with glow in the dark keys.
I WILL think of that though if I ever get a new desktop.
Thanks for the info and the laugh :)
