Early this morning, Lou Dog sent me an email to let me know that she would be over for dinner tonight and to tell me about her exciting day out.
Well here ... you can read it for yourself:
"Hi Grandma!
Mommy took me to work today! I don't know what she was thinking, but I am really really EXCITED to be here! There are all sorts of people that come in and so many new smells. Now I know where she goes every day. She told me if I am good today, she might bring me here once a week.
Next time I will bring my rope cause I am chewing on my leash right now. Mom wasn't thinking clearly this morning....obviously!!

So her Mommy and Daddy will be here tonight to collect some clothes and things to help the folks in Windsor, CO who are temporarily homeless due to the recent tornadoes.
Now that made me busy today too. I have put together a crock-pot roast, am baking some wheat bread, an apple pie for dessert, and of course I have a lot of dog biscuits!
No new updates for today.
All is well here in never-never land :))

Damn Blondie...that makes me hungry! I may have to show up for dinner with plate in hand! You sure know how to get thet ole juices flowing, girl! (food wise, of course!)

glad you get to be a gramma again. It is fun isn't it.
And that meal sounds delicious - I had some blueberry pie today - and it might have been a bit rich for me..but it sure tasted good.
And what a good deed to provide some things for those that are in a loss. It will be well appreciated I'm sure.
