Gotta Love Those 15 cent Burgers

*****

Hermit Jim just got a hold of me to show me a good article that he read over at David Pollay's blog.
Reading it brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears that is. I hope you enjoy it and can relate to it also.

Keep an eye on Deep Cycler for this Saturday's launch. Austin is going to open Two new lines for $5 and $6. The number of positions will be limited to 5 per line for the first hour. After that you can purchase 10 more per line. Then after 24 hours all limitations will be removed and you can buy as many as you like.
This will give newer members a chance to get in and make a little profit.

I see there's an update over at 10DollarsWonder. I was going to post it here, but I'm not. If you're a member, login and read it. It's all good news.

Yes, I am very anxious for 10centclub to open and for things to pick up over at 10dw just like everyone else. I just don't get upset like I see others doing.

So while we wait,
here's a "Chill Pill" for
those who need it.

Here's another one I dragged out of storage from 1967.
I love seeing the old cars and especially those .15 cent McDonald's Burgers. Pay attention to that Sign cause I remember the big celebrations around town when they sold their first million burgers. Isn't that amazing?
I guess what's even more amazing is that I actually ATE them and I'm still here to tell about it. hahaha

Hey Blondie...great song, as usual. Glad that there is a place like youtube around to keep us supplied with all these memories.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Jim

We all can see that 10centclub.com soon is here as if one logs in to it, one can see that more and more features with it are finished.

I think those who are upset don´t know how much work lies behind.

And to mention it, we are over 17 000 members in 10Dollars!

Nice music again Blondie!

Hi Blondie,

can't say anything about 15 cent burgers...must have been before my time and geographicly i was way off.;o)I had my first burger in '92(i was 17)i think and were definitly more than 15 cents.LOL
Can you believe it? I grew up without burgers as a child, they simply did not exist in east germany.:o)

I think it's a great update for 10DW, i am very happy about his decission to remove the inactive positions...That will bring a fresh wind into the program.

Have a good one,
Manu.

Hope your trip down memory lane was a good one Jim :)

Hi Mattias, I'm sure your right. Those complaining are NOT the ones doing all the work involved.

Enjoyed your burger story Manu.
Yes, I think 10dw will come back better than ever. Hope so anyway :))

Thanks guys!

Blondie - now 10:30 pm my time - and am cking on your blog. I did like the tune today - &of course like the pictures of old buildings, girl & her hairstyle, the style of those old cars.. and sort of remember McDonalds starting. ( In Canada maybe it came later than US - not sure ).
& likely .15 felt like $5.00 then
& was bigger !!
All fun reminising aye.
